A crew was framing a pole at their job site. The pole being framed was supported by both a cradle and a winch line. One of the crew members noticed the cradle was angled off to the side of the pole and it appeared the pole was being supported by the winch line. He kicked the cradle out from under the pole which caused the pole to rotate as there was some slack in the winch line. The pole had a p/v on it (device for rotating a pole, see picture below) which swung with the pole and its handle hit another crew member in the chest causing him to fall backwards onto some staged poles behind him.
